PSPO IThe Professional Scrum Product Owner level 1 (PSPO I) assessment is available to those who have taken a PSPO course, and who wish to demonstrate their fundamental knowledge of the Scrum framework and its ability to support value creation and delivery. Those who pass the assessment will receive the industry recognized PSPO I Certification to indicate their mastery of the content.
The PSPO I assessment is grounded in the Scrum Body of Knowledge at Scrum.org, but is quite difficult. Parts of the assessment may ask the taker to think about or interpret the meaning from the Scrum Guide and the content of the PSPO course. Or, in some cases, apply their own experience.

Details
Students who complete a PSPO course will be emailed a password to take the assessment within a 14-day period following the course. There is no fee for assessment beyond the fee for a Professional Scrum Product Owner course.
At present, the PSPO I assessment and certification is open only to those who have taken a Professional Scrum Product Owner course. Assessment is currently based on the body of knowledge contained in the courseware. Once the body of knowledge has been formalized as a Scrum Product Owner Guide, the assessment will be open to the public and anyone – including those who have not taken a Professional Scrum Product Owner course – will be able to assess themselves.
Certification
If you pass the PSPO I assessment you will receive the industry-recognized "PSPO I" certification, along with a PSPO I logo that you can use to identify your achievement. In addition, your name will be listed on Scrum.org.
Unlike other Scrum certifications that require only class attendance, Scrum.org certification requires a minimum score on an online assessment. This gives Scrum.org certification teeth and ensures that it has true value in the marketplace.
