Ken Schwaber, Co-Creator of Scrum And Founder of Scrum.org, Recognized By Boston Business Journal With Lifetime Achievement Award

Schwaber Honored at the Publication’s Innovation All-Stars Awards Gala

Boston – Jan. 13, 2017 Scrum.org, the mission-based organization dedicated to improving the profession of software delivery through training, certification assessments and community, is proud to announce that Ken Schwaber, founder of Scrum.org and a creator of Scrum, was honored with an Innovation All-Stars Lifetime Achievement Award from the Boston Business Journal. The awards ceremony took place on January 12, 2017 at the Innovation and Design Building in Boston, MA.

“It doesn’t seem so long ago that Jeff and I were working here in Boston on a software project and needed to find a better way to deliver that software at the pace of innovation. Today, it fills me with pride that so many millions of people apply and adhere to the Scrum principals in all areas of industry,” said Schwaber. “I graciously accept this award and thank the Boston Business Journal for this honor.”

The annual Innovation All-Stars awards recognize Greater Boston’s most innovative and enterprising technology companies and entrepreneurs. Lifetime Achievement Award winners demonstrate leadership and ingenuity that greatly impacts the technology and science community in Boston and around the world.
