Scrum.org's new home is opening its doors today! We're not referring to our global headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts. We are talking about our new home on the interwebs.
A new home for Scrum.org means its thousands of website visitors per day will soon be greeted with a new, more intuitive, user experience, fresh new branding and a new look and feel, and new social features to support more meaningful interactions between themselves and others in the global Scrum community.
Community Forums will be a virtual water cooler for asking your most basic or most challenging questions relating to Scrum and professional software development. The daily Blogfeed will allow you to keep your finger on the pulse of the latest thinking and guidance from around the Agile and Scrum communities. And of course we still provide the freely available Scrum Open assessment to allow you to test your basic knowledge of Scrum.
Scrum.org's courses, assessments and overarching mission to improve the profession of software development remain the same, but these new enhancements will go a long way in further developing the passionate support community that is paramount to improving the software development profession.
Of course this is only the first step. We hope you will tell us what you need to help guide our future. You will notice the new feedback fly-out on the bottom right hand side of the new website, on every single page. Please use it. Often. We want to hear from you!
What's next? You'll have to wait and see. But there is plenty more to come.
This is Scrum. Welcome home.
