Scrum.org Describes What a Professional Scrum Developer Needs to Know

- Alex Armstrong
in Scrum.org News
Today we are publicly releasing the Objective Domain for the Professional Scrum Developer program.

We have been working with software developers for over a decade, collectively helping thousands of people and their organizations develop better software using Scrum. We condensed the best of what we learned during that time into the Professional Scrum Developer course, mixing the tools, practices, and process that a developer needs to builds software as part of a Scrum team.

In sharing the PSD Objective Domain we hope to:

  • Give existing Development Teams topic areas they can explore as they continuously improve
  • Provide hiring managers with the knowledge they should expect from a Professional Scrum Developer
  • Demonstrate to senior leaders the depth of knowledge a Professional Software Developer possesses
As the software development profession changes so will this document.

Let us know what you think. And thank you for your support.
