I passed my test today and I'm extremely happy! I am brand new to scrum so if i can do it so can you! I answered 79 out of 80 questions correct. My tips for passing.. Easy:

*Study the Scrum guide in and out (obviously)
*Take the open assessment for PSM repeatedly until you are passing with 100% every time.
*Assessment by( http://mlapshin.com/index.php/psm-quiz/) was extremely helpful
*Don't stress about the scaled scrum questions. I saw two and answered them correctly without studying nexus guide
*The scrum training videos was helpful (http://scrumtrainingseries.com)
*Go through scrum glossary

*** I wanted stress my concerns about this forum.. I found it helpful with some of the material that some ppl suggested to take a look at and I also referred to the forum for some questions that some experts answered. But with the good came the bad. Reading through this forum can do some harm as well. I read about A LOT of failures and this discouraged me and had me second guessing my possibility of passing. There were many people making this test seem almost impossible of passing the first time.

I would just say be mindful of your feedback, especially if you failed, because it would truly discourage the newbies like myself. The test is not as difficult as some has portrayed it be. I will not say that it is easy but I will say if you study and prepare well you will do well. Do not stress! Let me be the one to ENCOURAGE you! Good luck all!

Congratulations! Could you help me pls. What kind of types of questions did you find in your scrum assessment. Just I want to know if the question's style is similar to http://mlapshin.com/index.php/psm-quiz/ (the URL that you commented before)

Thanks a lot!

Many threads discourages and stopped me from taking the test (even though many has valid points and suggestions),

I did 2+ months of frequent preparation, got the password a week back but was still thinking either to take the test or study again-again :-)

Thanks for the positive note :-) your comments motivated and encouraged to go ahead and take the test.
And I passed in my first attempt.

Yes I agree with your points, go through the Scrum Guide multiple times and take open assessment till you score well.

Congratulations and thank you. You inspired me to take the test this morning and I am pleased with 95% pass first time.

I had purchased the exam a month a go and thought I was ready but got stuck in the cycle of frequently preparing (read scrum guide -> check on forums -> watch videos -> take mock tests -> repeat). I was often getting 100% but felt like I was moving backwards because every time I answered a question there were two new ones I was unsure on.

Also thank you for sharing the training videos link, it was great to see examples of the events.

I am extremely happy that my positive outlook motivated you to take it! Congrats on passing! Not sure how many have to take this test more than once if they really prepare themselves... Congrats again!

That source and the open assessment is exactly what you will see on the test. It is a great source!
