Dear all,

I am preparing me for the PSPO exam. I have read many books on the subject.
But I was wondering what kind of questions I can expect on the

Value Domain, Maximizing Value

Because that is the subject I know what they mean, but wondering if I understood the scrum way correctly, because it is partly Scrum and on other books it is an agile method. They are very close, but for the exam I would like to be precise, so I can answer the question correctly. Because practical and theory in different books can be explained on many way's I understood.

Please advise,
Yours Sincerely,
Johan Heegsma

Hi Johan,

I am in the same boat as you - I am studying for the PSPO exam and not sure to what extent do I need to know about TCO, ROI & maximizing value.

I have timeboxed my study and will be taking the test shortly, rather than wait & worry if I know enough - I will find out if I know enough.

Johan,

I took the PSPO 1 test last night and passed - I did get 2 questions wrong however.

Ways in which to maximize value do play a role in the assessment.

Do you have experience as a Product Owner? If so, great, you should do well.

If there is zero experience in the role of Product Owner then some of these questions will be tough. The questions are not testing your knowledge of a book here. It is the application of that knowledge in the Product Owner role & the challenges they face.

From the assessment page - "The assessment is exhaustive and rigorous. Many questions ask the test-taker to think about or interpret the meaning from the Scrum Guide and/or to apply content from the PSPO subject areas. Or, in some cases, apply their own experience."

What they say is true.

Good luck

Hi Tim,
I have completed PSM1 & passed, now i am planning to take up PSPO 1.
Can you please list out things to do, materials to read, for preparing for PSPO 1 exam.

Currently I don't have Product owner role, so I don't have experience in that.

Thanks
Senthil
