Class Overview
“How can I as a developer in a Scrum team have an effective contribution to a great outcome?”
The Professional Scrum Developer course (PSD) is a 3-day course where students form a Scrum team, in which they concurrently do requirements engineering, design, development, testing, integration and deployment within a single iteration. After completing the course, students get one attempt at the globally recognized Professional Scrum Developer certification exam (PSD).
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Students gain a real-world view of what it's like to build software using Scrum. Throughout the course, students collaborate together as a team in a series of Sprints where they apply modern engineering practices and use the Scrum framework to cope with changes. There is a key focus on having students learn how to develop increments of potentially releasable functionality from a realistic Product Backlog.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Everyone who is part of or is going to be part of a Scrum development team (for example: developers, testers and analysts). Note that the training is most effective when attended by the whole team.
