To help support students, their organizations and our trainers during the COVID-19 pandemic, Scrum.org has adapted its In Person method of course delivery and will offer selected classes remotely with a live Professional Scrum Trainer and Virtual Classroom.

This Professional Scrum with Kanban (PSK) class will be one of Scrum.org's selected live Virtual Classes. Prior to class, registered students will receive guidance and credentials to prepare for and participate in our class remotely.

Scrum.org has worked with Daniel Vacanti and another Professional Scrum Trainer to create the Professional Scrum with Kanban (PSK) course, leveraging Daniel’s expertise and knowledge. In 2007, Daniel helped develop the Kanban Method and managed the world’s first project implementation of Kanban. He’s been conducting Kanban training and coaching ever since.    

Each Scrum.org course is assigned two stewards who are responsible for collaborating with Scrum.org’s community of 300+ Professional Scrum Trainers and evolving the course materials under the guidance of Ken Schwaber, Scrum.org’s Chairman, Founder and the Co-creator of Scrum.

One of the two stewards for Scrum.org’s Professional Scrum with Kanban (PSK) is Daniel Vacanti and he will be one of your two Professional Scrum Trainers for this class.

One of the two stewards for Scrum.org’s Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) is Chuck Suscheck and he will be one of your two Professional Scrum Trainers for this class.

    Learn to Increase Predictability & Efficiency in Product Delivery

Professional Scrum with Kanban (PSK) is a 2-day course that teaches Scrum Practitioners how to apply Kanban and optimize the flow of their work without compromising the core tenets of either Scrum or Kanban. 

Through a combination of instruction, case studies, and hands-on exercises, you’ll learn how enabling core Kanban practices can increase the predictability and efficiency of your product delivery. In addition, you’ll learn how tracking basic flow metrics can improve the effectiveness, visibility and transparency of your product development.

You’ll then experience the positive impact of introducing flow to Scrum’s Events (including inside and outside of Sprints) and the value of adding Kanban from the perspective of Scrum’s Roles.

Lastly, you’ll be introduced to how Kanban can be useful in solving core flow issues and evolving towards a continuous flow of delivery while benefitting from the structure of the Scrum Framework.

After participating in this class, you'll receive credentials to attempt the PSK I assessment and earn the industry-recognized PSK I Certification.  Earning your PSK I Certification makes you part of an elite community of 1,600+ PSK I badge holders from around the globe and unlike other Scrum training and certification organizations, your certification will never expire nor require future renewal fees.

CertificationPSK I Certification

After completing a Professional Scrum with Kanban course, you'll receive credentials to attempt the Professional Scrum with Kanban (PSK I) assessment and earn the industry-recognized PSK I Certification. These credentials never expire, however should you attempt the PSK I assessment within 14 days after receiving your credentials and not receive a passing score, you'll be granted a 2nd attempt for no additional fee.  

Earning your PSK I Certification will make you part of an elite community of 1,600 PSK I badge holders from around the globe and unlike other Scrum training and certification organizations, your certification will never expire nor require future renewal fees.
