Professional Scrum Master II

Professional Scrum Master II™ (PSM II) course is a 2-day advanced Scrum Master class designed to support Scrum Masters in their professional development.  The PSM II course is intended for Scrum Masters with at least one year of experience who are looking to grow their knowledge and abilities as a Scrum Master. This course is one step in that journey. The course also includes a free attempt at the globally recognized Professional Scrum Master II (PSM II) certification exam.

The trainers

Roland Flemm

Roland works as a consultant on large and small scale Scrum adoptions and as a Professional Scrum Trainer. He has a background in application development (.Net and Java) and infrastructure engineering (IBM WebSphere & Portal) for over 20 years. Since 2013 he is dedicated to working as a scrum master and LeSS Coach.

Besides coaching, he regularly publishes articles, is developed scrumcards (www.scrumcards.org) and is the creator of humorist movies. Roland enjoys speaking at international conferences and strongly believes that fun and diversity in the workplace is essential for success.

Chee Hong Hsia

Chee Hong is a freelance Scrum consultant, ICF Coach, Certified Facilitator LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® and Professional Scrum Trainer. He has been heavily involved with Scrum since 2007. His experience comes from working with numerous organisations in Europe and Asia where he coach scrum teams, middle management and C-level executives in the art of servant leadership, empirical thinking, bottom-up intelligence, the power of self-organisation, evidence-based management and validate-learning. With a software Engineering background, Chee Hong has a deep technical understanding and is able to coach development team engineering practices, software development principles. 

As a trainer, Chee Hong travels around the world with Scrum in his backpack. During his trip, he co-teaches with other Professional Scrum Trainers, connecting with local Scrum fanatics, share experiences and blog his adventures. 

Unlike the Professional Scrum Master (PSM) course which focuses on how to use Scrum, the Scrum framework and the role of the Scrum Master, PSM II is an advanced course helping students to understand the stances that characterize an effective Scrum Master and servant-leader while diving deep into how they serve the Development Team, Product Owner and organization. The course then teaches students about related practices and skills to enable them to have the right types of conversations and how to apply them to become better Scrum Masters.
