PSM is the cutting-edge course for effective Scrum Masters and for anyone coaching a software development team toward increased efficiency and effectiveness. The course includes advanced thinking for servant-leadership and behavioral shifts and teaches what is at the heart of the Scrum and Agile movement.

The Professional Scrum Master I training is intended for people who work with Scrum and need to shape up their knowledge to better collaborate in a scrum team as a development team member or a Scrum Master. This training will provide a theoretical background and many, many practical experiences. The course also includes a free attempt at the globally recognised Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) certification exam.

Throughout the 2-day course, students are challenged to think in terms of the Scrum principles to better understand what to do when returning to the workplace. When you leave the training, you will be able to assess if your Scrum implementation is tailored in a correct way. We aim for people to understand “the why” and help you develop yourself, your teams and your company.

The PSM course is much more than just a set of slides and an instructor. In this course, students work on real-life cases with other classmates together as a team. This course is made up of discussions and hands-on exercises based upon real-life cases.

Professional Scrum Master certification

To become a Certified Scrum Master, the attendees need to pass the PSM-I exam. This is an online exam for which the price is included in the course.

Preparation for the training:

To get the best Return on Investment on this training, participants are advised to:

• Read the Scrum Guide.
• Read a book about Scrum such as "Software in 30 days" or "Agile Project Management with Scrum".
• Have some experience working with agile teams.

Additional information

The language of the training is English or Dutch spoken. The course material is in English.

The following is included in the training fee:

• Registration fee at scrum.org for Ukraine residents. For people residing in western Europe, an additional 100 Euro scrum.org registration fee is applicable.
• Two attempts for the Professional Scrum Marter (PSMI)  certification exam (if taken within 14 days of the course)
• 40% discount for the PSM II certification exam
