Professional Scrum Product Owner™ is a 2-day course that provides the foundational knowledge needed to work with Scrum in a highly practical way. The course is a combination of instruction and team-based exercises where participants experience how the Scrum framework improves product development efforts.
The course objectives are:
- Have a clear understanding of the mechanics of Scrum
- Know how the Product Owner fits into Scrum
- Successfully work with Scrum Teams and stakeholders
- Effectively increase business agility
All participants completing the PSPO course receive one password to take the PSPO I assessment. If you attempt the PSPO I assessment within 14 days of the class and do not score at least 85%, you will be granted a 2nd attempt at no additional cost.

Over the 2 days, participants will develop and solidify their knowledge of being a Product Owner through instruction and team-based exercises. Assessment and Certification
The Professional Scrum Product Owner course has three associated credentials: Professional Scrum Product Owner level I (PSPO I), Professional Scrum Product Owner level II (PSPO II) and Professional Scrum Product Owner level III (PSPO III)
All participants completing the Professional Scrum Product Owner course receive a password to take the PSPO I assessment and are entitled to a discount on the PSPO II assessment.
These industry-recognized certifications require a minimum passing score on the associated rigorous assessment. Scrum.org maintains a public list with everyone holding a PSPO I, PSPO II and PSPO III credentials.

Chee Hong Hsia
Chee Hong is a Dutch-born Singaporean Scrum.org Professional Scrum Trainer, a freelance Scrum Consultant, ICF Coach, and a Certified Facilitator LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®. He has been heavily involved with Scrum since 2007. His experience comes from working with numerous organizations in Europe and Asia where he coach Scrum teams, middle management and C-level executives in the art of servant leadership, empirical thinking, bottom-up intelligence, the power of self-organization, evidence-based management and validate-learning. With a software Engineering background, Chee Hong has a deep technical understanding and is able to coach development team engineering practices, software development principles.
As a trainer, Chee Hong travels around the world with Scrum in his backpack. During his trip, he co-teaches with other Professional Scrum Trainers, connecting with local Scrum fanatics, share experiences and blog his adventures.
