Professional Scrum Product Owner - Advanced
Live Virtual Class, October 16-17, 2023
22 years after the Agile Manifesto, agile is becoming a commodity. Trainings are offered all over the place. But what makes a training a good training?
We believe that different elements contribute to a successful training, such as the trainer’s past experience, his understanding of the material and the underlying theory as well as his teaching skills. In short, the quality of the training depends on the trainer.
So, choosing a training comes down to trusting the trainer, and with Ralph (LinkedIn) you are in good hands.
Ralph has over 24 years of experience applying agile practices and over 20 years using Scrum successfully. Ralph used Scrum internationally on two continents at blue chip organizations, onsite and distributed in various domains. Ken Schwaber himself appointed Ralph to become a trainer for Scrum.org in 2010, being one of the first 10 trainers globally. Ralph taught over 8000 students all over the world. Ralph is a regular speaker at conferences and company events and is also co-author of the best-selling book: The Professional Product Owner.
Professional Scrum Product Owner
This official certified Scrum.org Product Owner – Advanced (PSPO-A) course focuses on helping experienced practitioners expand their ability to establish a solid vision, validate their hypotheses, and ultimately deliver more value to their stakeholders. The PSPO-A course is intended for Product Owners who are looking to grow their knowledge and abilities.
The course goes beyond the topics explored in the Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) class by deepening the attendee’s understanding of the role through the exploration of the many stances of a professional Product Owner. This course is an interactive, experiential workshop where attendees explore topics through a series of exercises and discussions. Students should have at least one year of Product Owner experience and practical knowledge of Scrum in order to participate in and benefit from these exercises. Having previously taken the PSPO class is recommended, but not required.
Official PSPO II certification
To obtain the official Scrum.org certification, students must take the Professional Scrum Product Owner II (PSPO II) exam. This is an online exam, the costs of which are included in the price of the training (By attending the training, you will get a second complementary attempt if needed). The exam is in English. After obtaining the certificate, you may from now on call Professional Scrum Product Owner II. You are also automatically a member of Scrum.org for an unlimited period of time.
