Upon course completion, attendees will receive one attempt at the Professional Scrum Product Owner I online assessment.

The Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) program teaches individuals how to maximize the return on investment (ROI) and optimize the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of products and systems. Agile Product Ownership today requires more than knowledge of how to write a User Story or manage a Product Backlog. Agile Product Owners need to have a concrete understanding of everything that drives value from their products. The PSPO course helps students develop and solidify this understanding—from early stakeholder management to release planning and delivery.

Audience:
The Professional Scrum Product Owner course is primarily targeted to those accountable for maximizing the value delivered by products and services, including:

•IT Development Managers responsible for a line of business or internal company system
•Strategy managers responsible for the overarching direction of a product or product family

Course Prerequisites & Expectations:
Attendees will be able to make the most of the class if they…
•Have studied the Scrum Guide (required) and taken the Scrum Open Assessment (recommended)
•Have taken the Professional Scrum Foundations course
•Possess a general understanding of requirements and requirements decomposition
•Have been on or closely involved with a project that builds or enhances a product
•Want to know more about how Scrum works, how to use it, and how to implement it in an organization
