Professional Scrum Product Owner is a 2-day course that provides the foundational knowledge needed to work with Scrum in a highly practical way. The course is a combination of instruction and team-based exercises where students experience how the Scrum framework improves product development efforts.

What You Will Learn

Over the 2 days, students will develop and solidify their knowledge of being a Product Owner through instruction and team-based exercises. The breadth of the role’s responsibilities in delivering a successful product will become more clear from an Agile perspective. Metrics are identified to track the creation of value and the successful delivery of the product to the marketplace.

The PSPO course is much more than just a set of slides and an instructor. In this course, students work on real-life cases with other classmates together as a team. This course is made up of discussions and hands-on exercises

The price includes course materials, the PSPO I assessment and certification and a discount on the PSPO II assessment.

How do I achieve the Professional Scrum Product Owner I (PSPO I) certification?
The PSPO I certification is achieved by taking and passing an online assessment in your own time following the course. It can be taken from any internet connected computer.

What is required to achieve the Professional Product Owner I (PSPO I) certification?
The PSPO I assessment is comprised of 80 multiple choice questions that must be completed in 60 minutes. The pass mark is 85%.

What are the course hours?
Courses start at 09:00 and finish at 17:00 each day.

How many people will attend?
Arnoud's courses are capped at around 16 attendees to ensure a premium experience.

How should I prepare for the course?
The only preparation required is to read the Scrum Guide.

Yes. You can claim 14 PDU's for attending a course.

Arnoud is a trainer with scrum.org with over 20 years experience in developing IT systems, the last 5 of which doing so using only scrum. Arnoud coaches organisations and people to learn how to get the most value out of being agile and particular scrum.

As a Professional scrum master and computer geek by trade, Arnoud is evangilizing Agile, scum and ALM everywhere he goes. Arnoud uses his experience in the field to help organisations use Scrum and agile as enablers for people and organisation to deliver value, not as a goal in itself. Being agile is the goal, not doing agile. In trainings Arnoud uses that same experience to give real live examples of how to apply the scrum theory.
