Scrum.org's Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) course teaches how to optimize the delivery of value through software products, applications and services. It helps you develop and solidify an understanding of everything that drives value from idea conception through release planning and delivery.

Who Should Attend?
The Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) course is helpful for all involved in software development using the Scrum Framework as defined in the Scrum Guide.
It is particularly beneficial for any of the following people:
- Business stakeholders
- Dedicated to optimizing the value of software products and systems
- Have Product Management responsibilities
- Serve in the role of Scrum Product Owner.
Learning Objectives
- Gain a clear understanding of Scrum and the Scrum Framework as defined in the Scrum Guide.
- Serve as a Product Owner for Scrum Teams and stakeholders from an in-depth understanding of delivering value.
- Start effectively increasing business agility and optimizing the delivery of value.
Assessment & Certification
All participants completing the Professional Scrum Master course will receive credentials to attempt the PSPO I assessment, and are also entitled to a discount on the PSPO II assessment. The industry-recognized PSPO certifications require a minimum passing score on these rigorous assessments.
PDU Credits
Students of Scrum.org courses are able to claim Project Management Institute (PMI) PDU credit: 14 PDUs after attending the two-day Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) course. Please note that PMI PDUs are earned for course attendance and not for passing a Scrum.org assessment. Students can claim PDUs under PMI’s "Education courses provided by other third party providers” category. You can claim your PDUs here.
