Hello friends.

I am currently pursuing the PST journey, and I am curious about something.

As time goes by, depending on the company, the Scrum Master assumes new roles, my question is: do PSTs usually keep working as a Scrum Master, or they are consultants, directors or work in a C-level position in their company?

Sorry if this is not a common question. I am just trying to see if PSTs work more on the team level as Scrum Masters or not necessarily.

Thank you for your help, I am curious to see the answers.

Would those "new roles" deviate from any of the stances a Scrum Master might reasonably adopt?

I always ask a trainer if they have a day job and the answer is complicated. Some trainers I've spoken with ( and other Agile bodies) work full-time as Scrum Masters or Agile Coaches at a company, and then train on the weekends. And then I've met those who train full-time and consult on an as needed basis for their clients. It'll depend on your book of business. Glad you're looking into being a trainer, and not an Agile "Coach." Companies need to invest in trainers and certification trainings. Just my opinion.
