Hi,

I just encountered a question/scenario where:

Product Owner is supported by PO Proxy. There is an app which is going to be launched in a new country. We also know that there are two similar apps on that market. The questions are:

1. How to perform the analysis

2. How the results are going to be documented.

From what you describe that's going to be up to the so-called proxy, while the Product Owner will remain accountable for the results.

Question 1:  this is more of a BA question.  Lots of techniques - too many to list.  Look into BA body of knowledge.

Question 2:  similar to 1, but try to get the least amount of documentation you will need to fulfill the need.  You don't want to spend a lot of time creating throw away documentation.

Also defer constraining commitments - don't analyze or document too far ahead or you'll have to rework it when you learn.  I don't know where the line is for too far ahead, that's something you'll have to figure out in your environment.
