If a team has a new joiner and some Developers do not listen to the new joiner's ideas, what Scrum values are been neglected ? I'm wondering if the Scrum value commitment is neglected, because commitment is also about supporting each other, but if we had to choose between 3 values which one would we choose ?

The Scrum Team may be failing to demonstrate three Scrum Values - Respect, Courage, and Commitment.

Scrum Team members respect each other to be capable, independent people, and are respected as such by the people with whom they work.

Within a Scrum Team, there are no hierarchies. Everyone is considered to be a professional. A new member of a team would have valuable insights into what it takes to get up-to-speed on the product and becoming a contributing member of the team. They are also bringing their own past education and experience. Everyone is capable.

The Scrum Team members have the courage to do the right thing, to work on tough problems.

Doing the right thing includes challenging your own experiences and expectations. If someone comes in with a fresh perspective, it could be difficult to hear, especially if it is interpreted as being critical. Doing the right thing is hearing out what other people think and feel.

The Scrum Team commits to achieving its goals and to supporting each other.

Supporting each other requires helping. If the new ideas aren't feasible, it becomes a teaching moment. If they aren't feasible in the moment, the team has a Product Backlog along with whatever mechanisms they use to keep track of other process improvements. Instead of dismissing or ignoring the ideas, process them.

What evidence do you have that any of the Scrum Values are being demonstrated at all?

Did you ask the Scrum Team this question?

I need to know about this too.
