Hi,

Can someone please confirm that correction in screenshot below is not correct.  This is Q #71 in first set on this udemy course.

I believe the first answer cant be correct, coz who will do what is up to development team to self-manage, and that need not be decided during sprint planning meeting, and need not be prescribed by PO or SM.

I believe my answer (second one) aligns with what Scrum Guide also clearly says "The Sprint Backlog is composed of the Sprint Goal (why), the set of Product Backlog items selected for the Sprint (what), as well as an actionable plan for delivering the Increment (how).".

Please comment.

The Scrum Guide says:

Sprint Planning addresses the following topics:

Topic One: Why is this Sprint valuable?

...

Topic Two: What can be Done this Sprint?

...

Topic Three: How will the chosen work get done?

This is a good example of why you need to be wary of third-party resources and avoid them when studying for a certification exam. Your selected answer is indeed consistent with the Scrum Guide and the "correct" answer is wrong. If you're studying for the PSM, you should stick with Scrum.org's resources. If you're studying for a different certification, go with that certification body's material.
