Hi

Is the definition of done applicable to the product backlog item and its decomposed tasks or is it just applicable for the product backlog item?

Can someone provide an example of a definition of done?

The Definition of Done should apply to the increment, since that is the artifact which is subject to potential release. However there can be multiple levels of Done which address varying concerns in its production.
