Consider expanding on:

• What have you done to prepare so far?
• How would you describe your experience with Scrum and agile ways of working in a broad sense?
• Which certifications do you already have (if any)? If not, I highly recommend looking into PSM I as part of your preparation.
• Do you have any specific questions or concerns you’re looking for guidance on?

Remember: the more public these discussions are, the more people are likely to draw value from them.

Hi Bouke,

Thank you very much for your thoughtful questions and guidance. I’m pleased to share my progress and experience so far:

1.Preparation so far:
I’ve been actively preparing by reviewing key Scrum and Agile concepts, attending online workshops, and engaging in relevant community discussions. I’ve also practiced facilitating Agile ceremonies and handling real-world Scrum challenges such as managing team dynamics, sprint goal alignment, and stakeholder communication.

2. Experience with Scrum and Agile ways of working:
I have practical experience applying Scrum and Agile principles in various organizational settings. My focus has been on enabling cross-functional teams to deliver iterative value, improve continuously, and maintain transparency. I’ve facilitated sprint ceremonies — including planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives — while helping teams identify and remove impediments that affect progress.

3. Certifications:
I currently hold a Scrum Master certification and have hands-on experience using Agile tools such as Jira, Miro, and Slack to support effective delivery.

4. Areas where I would appreciate guidance:
I would appreciate insights on how to best position my experience when applying for Scrum Master roles and during interviews. In particular, I’m keen to understand what hiring managers value most in candidates and how to stand out in distributed or hybrid team environments.

Thank you once again for your time and for encouraging open, knowledge-sharing discussions. I truly value the opportunity to learn from this community and continuously improve.

Thank u .
