Live Virtual Class, January 9, 2026
Class Overview
The Professional Scrum Product Backlog Management Skills course is designed to elevate your ability to manage your Product Backlog with precision and clarity, ensuring that your team delivers maximum value. In this interactive one-day session, you'll learn practical techniques for refining and prioritizing Product Backlog items, aligning them with your Product Goals, and maintaining transparency throughout the process.
This course goes beyond just the basics, offering hands-on experience with techniques like decomposing and slicing backlog items. You'll discover how simplicity can be the antidote to a complicated backlog, making it easier for your team to focus on what truly matters. By the end of the course, you'll be better equipped to connect the Product Goals you’re striving to achieve with the actual work being done, ensuring that value delivery is front and center.
You'll also dive into effective stakeholder communication, a critical skill for any Product Owner. Whether you’re a seasoned Product Owner, a Scrum Master looking to coach Product Owners, or a Product Manager eager to improve backlog management, this course will provide you with the tools you need to succeed.
All participants will receive a password to attempt the Professional Scrum Product Backlog Management Skills Certification. If you attempt the test within 14 days and don’t score at least 85%, you’ll receive a second attempt at no additional cost.
- 1 day of discussion and activities designed to engage adult learners.
- 1 free attempt to earn your PSPBM certification. If you take the first attempt within 14 days after class completion and you don't pass, you will get a second try free.
- Course Workbook.
- Access to full slide deck and complementary materials used during the course.
This course is your opportunity to sharpen your skills and ensure that your Product Backlog is a powerful tool for delivering value, rather than a roadblock.
