COMING SOON - AI Training for Scrum Masters from Scrum.org
UTRECHT, December 2, 2025 - Aligned with the conference theme (The Future of Scrum: What’s Next?), today at Scrum Day Europe, Scrum.org announced a new training course: Professional Scrum Master - AI Essentials. The course, which will be available early next year, introduces Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to the fundamentals of AI and how they can leverage AI to deliver upon their accountabilities. Upon course completion, students will be able to help their Scrum Teams better deliver valuable products.
Scrum Masters have a key role to play in introducing AI to teams, products and organizations, acting as a catalyst for change. As such, students completing this course will understand how to:
- Describe AI and how it supports modern product development
- Explain key concepts in AI, including machine learning, deep learning, generative AI and agentic AI
- Leverage AI to support their organization and the Scrum Team including Product Owners and Developers
- Improve their Scrum events through the use of AI
- Use effective context and prompt engineering practices
- Apply ethical practices and governance in relation to AI
- And more!
Students attending the course will receive a free attempt for the certification test. Scrum.org will announce official availability and licensed trainers of the PSM-AI Essentials course in early 2026.
