Scrum.orgのプロフェッショナルスクラムトレーナー(Professional Scrum Trainer・PST)をしております、グレゴリ・フォンテーヌと申します。プロダクトオーナーの責任をめぐっては、多くの混乱があります。企業によっては、プロダクトオーナーを「発注を受ける人」としか見ませんが、スクラムでは、プロダクトオーナーは、プロダクトビジョンからプロダクトバックログのアイテムの順番まで、すべてを決定するために必要な権限、信頼、ビジネスセンスを持った真のリーダーであると考えます。この記事の中で、私の仲間のPSTであるロビン・シューマン氏は、プロダクトオーナーの成熟度を5段階に分けて説明しています。私はこのプロダクトオーナーの成熟度は大変有益であると考えています。スクラムを導入する組織は、プロダクトオーナーがチーム外からのオーダーを取ることだけ専念しないよう、現在プロダクトオーナーやチームにどの程度の決定権を与えられているか(あるいは与えるべきか)について議論をするために使うことができます。
