Industry Veteran Kurt Bittner Joins as Vice President of Enterprise Solutions

Agile and Iterative Software Development Expert to Lead Enterprise-Level Professional Software Delivery Efforts

Boston – August 17, 2016, the mission-based organization dedicated to improving the profession of software delivery through training, certification assessments and community, today announced that Kurt Bittner, a leading expert on Agile and iterative software development approaches, has joined the company as vice president of enterprise solutions. In this role, Kurt is responsible for enterprise-level professional software delivery initiatives.

Bittner joins from Forrester Research, where he served as a Principal Analyst covering how enterprises are adopting Agile and DevOps practices to deliver business value faster and with higher quality.  Prior to Forrester, Kurt served as CTO—Americas for the consulting firm Ivar Jacobson International, where he worked for more than six years guiding Fortune 100 companies in their Agile transformation journeys. Prior to that, he played a leadership role in IBM's Jazz Platform strategy, led requirements tool strategy and development for Rational Software, and led the early development of the Rational Unified Process. As a consultant, he has helped many hundreds of organizations improve the results achieved by their development teams. An accomplished public speaker, Kurt has presented at many conferences, and is the author of three books, including The Economics of Iterative Software Development, as well as numerous papers and articles.
