Roman Lobus

Roman is Vice President of Agile Product and Portfolio Management at Singapore Airlines, where he leads the airline's enterprise agility practice — spanning product and portfolio operating models, delivery governance, and engineering transformation.

He is the author of "The Art of Creating Self-Organizing Teams: Agile Team Coaching from a Journeyman to an Expert" (Apress/Springer Nature, 2026), drawing on 20+ years of enterprise transformation across aviation, telecoms, financial services, oil & gas, logistics, and government.

Roman's training brings together deep enterprise experience with a focus on how engineering organisations are evolving their delivery practices — including the impact of GenAI on team structures, developer productivity, and the SDLC. He is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), trained in Organisation and Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSC), and an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC), specialising in executive and leadership coaching.

He creates engaging learning experiences by embedding real enterprise context into training delivery, grounded in principles of Training from the Back of the Room.
