Kurt Bittner joins Scrum.org from Forrester Research, where he served as a Principal Analyst covering how enterprises are adopting Agile and DevOps practices to deliver business value faster and with higher quality. Prior to Forrester, Kurt served as CTO—Americas for the consulting firm Ivar Jacobson International, where he worked for more than six years guiding Fortune 100 companies in their Agile transformation journeys. Prior to that, he played a leadership role in IBM's Jazz Platform strategy, led requirements tool strategy and development for Rational Software, and led the early development of the Rational Unified Process. As a consultant, he has helped many hundreds of organizations improve the results achieved by their development teams. An accomplished public speaker, Kurt has presented at many conferences, and is the author of three books, including The Economics of Iterative Software Development, as well as numerous papers and articles.
