Daniel Tobler is head of methods and agile sw development process for CSS health care insurace in Luzern, Switzerland. In this role, he is applying what he is teaching: Scrum for 23 dependant teams, business agility instead of silos, small initiatives instead of large projects, agile portfolio management for transparency and a lot of culture work to make it all stick.
Daniel has been working as developer, project manager, agile tester, architect, coach, consultant and Scrum Master in various projects. Scrum is on his list since 2000 where he used a similar method to complete a death march project. Beside Scrum he has expertise with RUP, Kanban, iterative development, and XP.
Beside his activities at Scrum.org, he loves to teach, coach, help, and improve for his and other companies. He also lectures about OO-Design and Scrum at the University of Applied Sciences in Rapperswil/Switzerland.
