An excellent introduction to Scrum and food for thought on how to apply it to our organisation

The course is very fast paced, it is a large amount of information, and you must review the material on your own after to fully understand Scrum. However, it is a very interactive course that gives you a mini experience of what it feels like to be part of an actual Scrum team. Dan is also a great instructor that will answer any question you have as well as provide additional material that will help you during this journey.

Dan is an excellent facilitator, he is engaging, takes account for learning styles and his knowledge is exceptional. Highly recommend the course and Dan as a facilitator.

Dan delivered our PSK Course from Scrum.org and it was fantastic - really interesting and expertly delivered. This is not an introduction into Scrum - you should look at his other courses for that. This is for people who already have a good knowledge of Scrum and want to learn and encorporate Kanban techniques to understand the flow of work through their team and understand how to measure/forecast more effectively. If you're already using Scrum and want some help managing work within a Sprint then I can't recommend Dan's course highly enough.

Yes KanbanDan Can !!! This truly was one of the best training classes I followed in a long time. Dan clearly has extensive knowledge about Kanban and is very good in skillfully bringing it across to students in numerous ways. It truly was a delight to be a part of the class and I cannot recommend it more highly.

The class was really full of learnings and so much practical. Dan has a lot of experience to share and is able to help you where you are in your journey of learning Kanban combined with Scrum. I learnt so much in terms of Defining a workflow, creating and understanding metrics and how to guide teams in implementing Kanban on top of Scrum to improve the flow of value.

Although the concepts of Scrum are by definition "simple", what's not simple is adapting your thought process and mindset to properly recognise and appreciate the Scrum values and framework, and truly take them on board. That's where the value of having someone like Dan Brown (aka Kanban Dan) on hand to guide you through, and most importantly challenge you, really proves its worth. Thanks Dan for a great couple of days!

Dan was very engaging. The only room for improvement would be that switching between the 2 murals got confusing at times.

Dan is an excellent trainer great experience

This course is perfect for anyone that is starting their journey in Scrum facilitation and needs some hints and tips, and also more experienced facilitators needing some additional items for their toolbox. Dan was a great presenter who clearly knew the subject matter well and had some excellent examples to use alongside the course material. Would have been 5 stars if there was a bit more time for some of the exercises.

Really enjoyed the PSM I Course with Dan Brown. As an attendee you will really benefit from ensuring you have a good understanding of the scrum framework and scrum guide before the course. In that way you will be able to focus on the mastery being taught and ask more specific questions to deepen your understanding. I was really impressed with the organisation of the online course (interactive Mural) and have found it a great resource to reflect on. I was tempted to take the exam initially without doing the course, but the course was certainly valuable in content more than any number of blogs/books could be. I will definitely aim to attend more courses in future on the back of this one.

Dan knows his onions. Hands on practical training over 2 days. I sure will be engaging with Dan again. We could do a little bit better with time management. Everything else is good.

Dan was great, upbeat & engaging. Use of props to explain scenarios was a great touch.

Knowledgeable trainer who managed to make the learning fun, even though it can be a little dry in places. Ours was a large group and he did well to keep us on topic most of the time.

Excellent experience, I enjoyed each minute of the course

Dan was very knowledgeable not just about the Scrum guide in theory, but also in practise. He was clear in the challenges which could be faced in the real world implementation of Scrum and I felt that by the end of the class I was not only prepared for the assessment but for my role as well. Dan's humour also meant the course was fun an engaging throughout, there was never a moment where I wished it was over.

I found Dan to be a very kind and conscientious trainer who really understood his stuff. I really enjoyed my time in his class and can see how my learning can clearly be applied to help me in my daily work. Thank you.

Dan was very knowledgable about Scrum and the course was very informative.

The course was really well ran and was fun to do. We covered a lot in 2 days and I learned a lot. Dan Brown, the Trainer, had lots of really interesting anecdotes, and was great at providing examples that helped to cement the learning. At the end of it I had a really solid appreciation of how to apply kanban principles to scrum.

Super 2 day course with Dan

The class was well organised and a good balance of instructor-led content, instructor and attendee real-world experiences, and group exercises. Even though it was held virtually, the class maintained a good level of engagement. Dan Brown was the instructor and he was excellent at guiding and answering questions whenever they come up.

I attended the Scrum with Kanban course in December led by Dan Brown "Kanban Dan". Absolutely loved the course content and structure. The trainer did everything possible to make it an enjoyable and interactive experience despite being conducted remotely.

Probably one of the best virtual instructor led training I've ever attended. Very easy to follow and highly engaging. I'd strongly recommended Dan and Oscar anytime!

Thorough presentation by the facilitators covering Scrum in just enough detail to be able to explain it apply confidently. The practical exercise that runs throughout really helped the content come alive.

Very good experience
