PSD I Assessment

PSD IThe Professional Scrum Developer I assessment is available to those who have taken a PSD .NET or Java course, and wish to demonstrate their knowledge of how to build complex software products using Scrum. Those passing the assessment receive the industry recognized PSD I Certification.

The PSD I assessment is grounded in the Professional Scrum Developer Objective Domain. The assessment is exhaustive and rigorous. Many questions ask the test-taker to think about or interpret the meaning from the Scrum Guide and/or to apply content from the Objective Domain. Or, in some cases, apply their own experience.

Students completing a PSD or PSD+ course are emailed a password allowing them to take the assessment once within a 14-day period following the course.** There is no fee for assessment beyond the fee for a Professional Scrum Developer course.

At present, Professional Scrum Developer I assessment and certification is open only to those who have taken a Professional Scrum Developer course. Assessment is based on the body of knowledge contained in the PSD Objective Domain. Soon the assessment will be open to the public and anyone – including those who have not taken a Professional Scrum Developer course – will be able to assess themselves.

Certification

If you pass the PSD I assessment you will receive the industry-recognized "PSD I" certification, along with a PSD I logo that you can use to identify your achievement. In addition, your name will be listed on Scrum.org.

Unlike other Scrum certifications that require only class attendance, Scrum.org's certification requires a minimum score on a rigorous assessment. This gives Scrum.org certification teeth and ensures that it has true value in the marketplace.
