Scrum Open Assessment

The Scrum Open assessment is the best tool for validating your basic knowledge of the Scrum framework. Taking the Scrum Open assessment will allow you to create a baseline of your current Scrum knowledge, from which you can start improving immediately.

The Scrum Open assessment is available for free to anyone interested in evaluating their knowledge of Scrum. It is also a useful tool for those preparing to take any of the certification granting Professional Scrum assessments. Before attempting the Scrum Open assessment it is highly recommended that you review the Scrum Guide.

The assessment was developed during a rigorous 6-month period of inspection and adaptation. During this period nearly 1,000 people took the assessment. Those people provided invaluable feedback through the assessment and in discussions to improve the assessment questions.

The assessment consists of 30 questions randomly selected from a larger pool.*
