Hello, can anyone tell me if the CSM exam includes questions about Lean and Agile methods e.g. Product and work breakdown structures.

I ask because my work sign me up to a training provider I don't have much faith in which is contradictory to some personal research and Udemy courses I have. The work. Course is suggesting I will get questions on Agile and Lean also. This is to the point its mentioned Toyotas history and Kaizen, PBD/WBD, agile pillars and values.

Do I need to study Agile and Lean too?

Thank you.

Truthfully, as a CSM holder, I don't think you need to study anything because the course will tell you exactly what you need to know to get a passing grade.

This is also why my CSM will be expiring.  I was also signed up by my employer to attend the training and take the test.

However it is a good idea to educate yourself on those items because they can be very useful to any organization that wants to be agile.

CSM certification exam is conducted by Scrum Alliance. A forum on Scrum Alliance's website might answer your question better than here.

There are a lot of differences between CSM and PSM certification. One which you may want to consider is CSM needs to be renewed every 2 years, while PSM certification doesn't expire
