It is hard not to notice how formal and structured Scrum has become, and how strong are dependencies on certification, formal courses and pre defined software like Jira(which I used myself, but only as B secondary tool).

One of the evident aspects is that certain techniques used by certain teams are informally becoming mandatory in the industry, even though they are not in any way set or even recommended by Scrum guide

One of the best examples is Daily Scrum, which is often called "daily stad up" because SOME teams choose to conduct it standing on their feet, for their reasons and it become popular

Personally I prefer the different approach. Considering that Scrum is very strict about time boxed for its mandatory events, and is also quite clear what should be input, content and outcome of Sprint planning, daily scrum, review and retrospective

In my opinion it would be more efficient to let self managing team choose their own comfort zone for such events, especially considering that they should be constantly happen at same place and time

This can be done by asking the team to play comfort zone poker, offering the different setting for each even like

-Stand up

-Conducting it at cafeteria while drinking coffee and enjoying snacks

-At the open air, in the nice natural environment

-At the office each one at own desk

-Remote from home

-At the restaurant in the evening after office hours

Anything what does not go against Organizations code of conduct and rules...

Timing is also can be chosen by the team, to avoid dependency on office culture where every project starts Monday morning(good time to start Sprint planning according to this thinking) and ends Friday evening(good time to do retro)

Scrum team can offer own suggestion from football stadium to night club

After that team collectively choose which environment, setting, time of the day and situation is most comfortable and productive for their character, temper and eventual productivity...
