Hi Guys,

I appeared for the PSM 1 exam today and cleared it with 91% in 1st attempt. Do let me know if anyone need help appearing in the exam.

Some of the tips for passing the exam -

1. Read the Scrum Guide as much as you can with emphasis on each and every statement.
2. Appear for the Open assessment as many times as you can
3. Appear for the assessment published by Mikhail as many times as you can. URL - http://mlapshin.com/index.php/psm-quiz/real-mode/
4. Repeat Steps 1-3 until you are confident enough with the preparation.

Regards
Abhishek

Good for you, but:

I am able to fly through scrum open assessment in a couple of minutes and get 100%. I had scrum course, I took more online payed courses and practice exams scoring %96-%100 every time(also 80 questions 1 hour).

I know scrum guide pretty much by heart. Yet, I got 78% on PSM! haha

Many of the questions have multiple sentences and are structured in such a weird way that they don't make any sense especially in combination with some very ridiculous multiple choice answers.
I remember one being something like:

f) true - 100%
g) true - outcome may vary

what?!

Its almost like they are trying to fail you...

Hello Ivan,

We're sorry to learn you did not pass your recent attempt on the PSM I assessment and were disappointed with the experience. In order to maintain their high value in the marketplace, please do note that our Professional-level assessments for certification are designed to provide greater rigor and challenge than our free practice assessments. As for other online practice exams, we are unable to comment on the content or quality of any third-party/non-Scrum.org practice assessments.

We do appreciate your input. We have passed your feedback along for further consideration by the Director of our Professional Series, who collaborates with our Community of experts for creating and refining assessment questions.

We kindly recommend that you review the post-assessment results email you were sent, containing the subject areas score breakdown (bar graph) and take advantage of the resources and recommendations found provided here: https://www.scrum.org/Assessments/Ways-to-learn-about-Scrum

Thank you for your interest in Scrum.org and for your feedback. Enjoy your day and best of luck in your continued journey with Scrum, Ivan!
