Don't Fret too Much - It's all About Transparency, Inspection and Adaptation

January 7, 2021

Don't fuss too much about your training routine. Whether it's strength training, yoga, resistance training, high intensity interval training, animal flow movement, walking or core work, your body doesn't care where you train ( terrace, garage, field track, 4 feet space in your living room etc.) or what you use to create resistance.

You don't need costly gym membership, hyped supplements or ill informed Coaches to keep you fit and healthy. Your body simply responds to how 'consistent' you are, how 'hard' you work, your intent to 'show up' for yourself, listening to your body and how well you prioritize 'movement' throughout the day.

Keeping it simple and not being fussy about where you train, when you train or what you train with makes it so much easier for you to train. This in turn helps you to be consistent. This consistency inevitably results in progress.

Same with Scrum. Be consistent with this simple, light weight, minimal & incomplete framework. Ensure you actively understand and embrace transparency, inspection and adaptation at every step, every day, every event, every artifact, every accountability, every Sprint, every boundary and every goal.

You don't need costly, complex frameworks and training courses to embody agility and elevate value delivery. Keep it simple like Scrum. Simple doesn't mean it's easy. So strive for consistency, rather than perfection. Be open to unlearn and leave your ego at the door.

Whether it's your blood markers report, sugar levels/HbA1c, lipid profile, waist to height ratio, your happiness index, your mental health - nothing can provide you with solutions. It only serves as a mirror to provide you the needed transparency and insightsYou need to take time to look into it, inspect the trends and implement the corrective actions.

Transparency enables inspection. Inspection without transparency is misleading.

Inspection enables adaptation. Inspection without adaptation is pointless.

Until next time, sweat it out, rinse, recover and repeat !
