Dave West is the CEO and Product Owner at Scrum.org and former VP and Research Director at Forrester Research for software development. Through his analyst work with several different organizations, Dave has experienced first-hand the barriers to agility and knows the steps that leaders need to take to become more agile.
Based on the principles of Scrum and the Agile Manifesto, Scrum.org provides comprehensive training, assessments and certifications to improve the profession of software delivery. Prior to his work at Scrum.org, Dave led the development of the Rational Unified Process (RUP) for IBM/Rational. He also was Chief Product Officer for Tasktop Technologies and Managing Director of the Americas at Ivar Jacobson Consulting.
