Class Overview
The Professional Agile Leadership™ Essentials (PAL-E) is an intensive 2-day training that builds a solid foundation for the role leaders play in enabling a successful Agile transformation. The course combines concise theory, practical cases and group discussion, designed for maximum learning impact.
In an Agile organization, the role of leaders and managers changes significantly. To succeed in a fast-changing world, organizations must become more adaptive and more responsive to customer needs and market changes. This training equips leaders and managers to create the conditions in which Agile teams, and the organization as a whole, can thrive.

Is Professional Agile Leadership Essentials (PAL-E) right for me?
This training is for you if you are a leader involved in adopting and embedding Agility in your organization:
- You are a manager or leader responsible for one or more Scrum Teams.
- You have a leadership role within a Scrum Team, for example as a Scrum Master, Product Owner or Developer who actively influences how the team works and improves.
- You are an HR or PMO leader responsible for developing people and teams within Agile teams.
- You are a senior executive or sponsor of an Agile transformation and want to understand how to grow the leadership needed for success.

What will I achieve by completing this training?
You will learn:
- How to increase autonomy and ownership in Agile teams so they can take greater responsibility for product delivery and better navigate increasingly complex business conditions.
- In which parts of your organization an Agile approach is most useful.
- How you as a leader can shape the structures, policies and environment, and reinforce organizational patterns that increase the likelihood of a successful Agile transformation.
- How you as a leader can gradually let go as teams become more mature, while still providing clarity and support where needed.
- How the culture of a traditional organization differs from an organization built around more autonomous value streams, and what this asks from your leadership.
- How to recognize and address typical challenges that Agile teams and Agile leaders face, and how leaders can help remove impediments while growing their own effectiveness.

You will gain hands-on experience as you:
- Engage in interactive discussions, supported by flip charts and a focused slide deck.
- Work on team cases and exercises that connect directly to your own context.
- Watch and reflect on short videos that illustrate key concepts.

Aristo Eindhoven is centrally located in the city centre of Eindhoven, about a 10-minute walk from Eindhoven Central Station.
By car
Eindhoven is easy to reach via the A2, A50 and A67 motorways. Follow the signs to the city centre; from there you can quickly reach Vestdijk, where Aristo is located.
Parking
You can park in Q-Park Heuvel, the parking garage directly next to Aristo Eindhoven. From there it’s only a few minutes’ walk to the entrance of the meeting center.
