Professional Scrum Master

PROFESSIONAL SCRUM MASTER is training for people who have basic knowledge about Scrum and want to broaden their knowledge. Coaching is conducted by one of the most experienced people in Poland in terms of agile methods. It consists of two full days in the form of a workshop using accelerated learning techniques and exploits the problems that participants bring to the training.

The workshop is conducted by experienced trainer who worked with the product and business for over 10 years. Students will not only obtain knowledge and basic skills but also learn about examples of real-life solutions and customer cooperation.

For whom?

The target group encompasses people who already perform as Scrum Masters or intend to start working in this role soon. PSM is also aimed for managers, Scrum Team members, and agile coaches who aspire to learn teamwork tools and cooperate with Product Owners and organizations.

This training is not suitable for somebody who has not previously had any experience with Scrum. For those people, we have Applying Professional Scrum training, after which you can also obtain a Professional Scrum Master I certificate. PSM class can be adjusted for beginners, but it loses about half of its impact.

Course objectives

Workshop focuses on practical application of agile methods. Analysis of the real-life cases brought by the participants aims to improve the participants' mastery of the Scrum mechanics. During the training, participants correct their understanding of concepts and test them in problematic situations on the basis of case studies. They will be able to deliver value, implement creative team potential in faster and more efficient manner, as well as to perfect their Scrum Master abilities.

Form of trainig 

Professional Scrum Master consists of two full days in the form of a workshop using accelerated learning techniques and exploits the problems that participants bring to the training. This training focuses on the experience exchange. It focuses on the practical application of these agile methods and the answers to the questions of the participants. Professional Scrum Master Workshop is constantly being developed in order to best respond to market demand and trends in the software development.

Examination process

After completing the training, within five working days, participants receive a voucher to take up one Professional Scrum Master I exam for certification. The PSM I exam is composed of closed multiple-choice questions. You need to get at least 85% to pass the exam. Most of our students have no problem with passing this exam, provided they have a good command of English. If you take the exam within 14 days from receiving your voucher but obtain negative results, Scrum.org will provide you another voucher for one additional attempt to the given exam.

PMI Personal Development Units

All students of Professional Scrum Master class can claim 14 Personal Development Units (PDUs). Points are earned for course attendance and not for passing a Scrum.org assessment.
