despite it's age the message remains true.  the audience are 'managers' but that's only because scrum masters didn't exist back then.

what cleese describes is a method to get to an open and creative way of thinking which involves all those elements we, as scrum masters, should keep in our toolbox.  in many cases these tools are contrary to the accepted methods e.g. playing rather than holding a strategy meeting.  hopefully our experiences have already led us to this insight.

being cleese it is of course smattered with humour, that makes it all the more memorable.  i am not suggesting that scrum masters should become stand up comedians however a certain levity especially in e.g. the retro, may help to break the ice with less experienced teams who attempting to find value in the framework or even more experienced teams who, nonetheless, have serious issues to approach
