Need input on below question

1. Development team size

Scrum guide suggest optimum team size should be in not less than 3 and not more than 9. however most of the online article suggest 7 plus and minus 2. so                   in this case while the upper number is still 9 lower number is 5.

Now if I have a option 3 to 9 and 7 plus and minus two which one should I select ?

2. When we design any software product after Unit test and Integration test we give a Demo to client and then we request them to perform the User accept test. Once UAT is signed off then we move to production environment for further use.

Now to my understanding, once we perform the Integration test and result is as per the expectation then we give Demo to user (which I think is Sprint Review) where do we need to factor the UAT and Feedback received after UAT

  1. Is it an option to tell the team members what outcomes are expected, and let them form the teams as they see best?
  2. It sounds like you might be trying to map existing structures in to Scrum. Perhaps you can find a better way of achieving the outcome of UAT without having a dedicated phase for it. Whatever you do, it is important that the increment is releasable within a sprint; so that includes having passed testing. You should then have a releasable increment at Sprint Review that only includes "Done" items, and this can be inspected, and lessons learned can be shared with everyone present
