Hi, i got one question that is generating doubts in my team of study.

In case, we got roles supporting the Scrum Master in removing impediments , who can be that role?

Some of us think the scrum master acts alone with it and some think him get support by something like a senior management , but we got no role called senior management.

Thanks.

Every manager ought to demonstrate servant-leadership, and be keen to collaborate in the removal of impediments.

One coach I know likes to say that the manager looks outward to removal organizational impediments for one to many teams.  As managers transition to a new way of working, impediment removal becomes part of their role. The Scrum Master may look inward to the Scrum Team to help remove impediments, may teach the Development Team to remove impediments within their control (and in this case is it really an impediment if it is within their power to solve), and may work with the organization as well, all the way up the chain to Sr Leadership.

What empirical evidence is there that such support would be helpful? If a Scrum Master encounters difficulties removing impediments, is it wise to make that transparent?

If impediments are visible to all stakeholders across the organization, how might the role of management change in dealing with such impediments?
