Guys would you know if an individual has an expired certificate as a CSM, will he stop appearing in Scrumalliance's certificate holder list?

My close friend is a csm holder and he told me that if certification is expired it is automatically removed from this list. Honestly I am not sure about it, but he told me that

It is false. I'm still in the SA directory without paying the renewal fees from years.
