Hi,

I just passed the SPS assessment. I could say that it is noticeably more difficult than the PSM I assessment. Now my question is, how difficult is the PSM II assessment when compared with the SPS assessment? Is PSM II more difficult?

Thanks!

Oh, this is hard to compare

I would agree Max, they are testing very different things.  PSM II is scenario based in many parts testing your abilities as a Scrum Master while SPS is testing your knowledge on how to scale Scrum beyond a single team working on one product.  PSM II requires that you put yourself into the role of the Scrum Master and how you would handle actions when in that role.

Hi. Thank you all for your replies. I do understand that it is an apples-to-oranges comparison. So to keep things simple, how is the level of effort in preparing for the exam compared with each other? Thanks!

Hi.

In my opinion, PSM2 is harder than SPS. You'll need more experience/study.
