Hello All,

As someone who is starting the journey as an upcoming Scrum Master, can you share your experiences and enlighten me of the responsibilities and day-day tasks of a Scrum Master. My organization ahs multiple projects where i observed the actual definition of a Scrum Master is not taken into account. So, can someone explain me the actual daily tasks or the responsibilities that a SM (for SAP/IT projects) has to assume? Thank you!

That's it right there. A Scrum Master takes care of how people understand and use the Scrum Framework.

You might have already done this, but the first and most important thing you need to do is read the Scrum guide.

The accountabilities of the Scrum master to the team, the Product Owner, and the Organization are called out.

For a new SM, there is probably enough there to give you 6 months of things to work on before you even need to think about supporting practices.
