I'm curious to hear how groups of ScrumMasters in medium sized organisations work together.

  1. Do you work as a Scrum Team and use the Scrum Guide?
  2. Do you meet at all or do all ScrumMasters do their own thing?
  3. Do you have someone in the centre?
  4. Do you run a Community of Practice?
  5. Who does the group facilitate and encourage discussion and learning?
  6. Does your group follow the Scrum Values?
  7. What else do you do?

At a previous employer we had a community of practice of sorts.  We would all get together once a week to discuss how our teams were doing.  We would share things that went well, share impediments, and discuss ways we could help the organization advance in their Scrum adoption.  This was the only place I have worked that had enough Scrum Masters to warrant something of this nature.  All of my other employers had a small number of Scrum Masters and we just kept it casual but supportive.
