Hi all, I'm about to book my first Scrum test. Which you you recommend, CSM or PSM? please advise

What outcome are you hoping to achieve by gaining a certification? Increase your Scrum Master skills? A career change? Promotion?

For the CSM you will have to take a course first before you take the test. For the PSM that is optional.

If you need certificate for employment, please keep in mind that in USA CSM is more respected among employers, while in Europe PSM is.

@nicolas, I am not sure that stands up anymore. It was the case in the past, but if you search job postings in the US on LinkedIn for Professional Scrum Master and for Certified Scrum Master, they are pretty much even in number.
