Hi,

Can you explain the source for some changes in the Scrum Guide?

Regarding "commitment vs forecast" I found useful information in this post https://www.scrum.org/resources/commitment-vs-forecast-subtle-important…

I'm interestes in the following changes:

"Grooming vs Refinement"

"Ceremonies vs Events?" Many people refers to the events as ceremonies.

Martin,

Although the words "ceremony" and "event" have an interchangeable meaning, the Scrum Guide refers to "event" only.

The word "grooming", however, has been replaced by "refinement" as one of the changes from 2011 to 2013.

In my opinion, it has to do with the growing pejorative meaning of the word "grooming".

If you want to see more revisions in the Scrum Guide, check out: http://www.scrumguides.org/revisions.html

Cheers.
