it it ok not to do any work from Product Owner, 

 

like 

defining product backlog items

backlog grooming

participating scrum meetings

 

what a product owner must do, is it necessary to know scrum process for product owner

Considering that all of the attributes and responsibilities of the Product Owner role are clearly defined in the Scrum Guide, do you believe someone can fulfill the role of a Product Owner without knowing Scrum?

Thanks for the reply, I have seen org following scrum without much knowledge in process. Thinks scrum master will take care of all and asks for alll, based on his request product owner will work
