Why Isn't My Account Password Working?

Please bear in mind that we have account passwords and assessment passwords. These passwords are not interchangeable. Scrum.org member account passwords are determined by you at the time you create your account. Assessment passwords are a string of between 42 and 46 characters with a dash (-) near the end.

Occasionally Scrum.org notification emails are caught in a spam filter due to network security or firewall settings, so we suggest adding info@scrum.org and support@scrum.org to your email client’s friendly contacts and safe-senders list in order to receive important communications from us. Please ensure you are entering the correct username. Your username is the email address you used to register for the account, with all characters included (as in example@scrum.org). You should be able to log in using the password you specified at the time you created your account.

If you do not remember your password, please click the “Forgot Password” button on the member login screen, and enter your username or email address. If you do not receive a password within a few minutes, you may not have registered for a Scrum.org member account. You can login or register for an account here.

After you register for an account, a welcome message with account details and further instructions for completing registration will be sent to your email address.

We suggest the following specifications for a more secure password:

  • Make it at least 12 characters
  • Add uppercase letters
  • Add numbers
  • Add punctuation
