Hello everyone,

I hope you are doing well.

I am reaching out for guidance regarding career progression as a Scrum Master. I already hold the Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org, and I have practical experience working as a Scrum Master / Project Manager in software development, SaaS, and research-based projects.

My experience includes:

  • Facilitating Scrum events (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
  • Working with Product Owners
  • Supporting development teams
  • Managing backlogs
  • Improving team collaboration
  • Using Jira, Confluence, and agile tools

Despite this, I am currently struggling to secure a new Scrum Master or Agile role.

I would appreciate advice from experienced practitioners on:

  1. How can I strengthen my profile to meet the current job market expectations?
  2. Are there additional skills or experience areas I should focus on?
  3. Any recommended practice, communities, or resources for improving real-world Agile expertise?

Thank you in advance for your time and guidance.

Best regards,
Fahad
